Isn't a $25 Order Fee a bit much? Is DeLoss still running things? I know Ticketmaster charges outrageous fees, but this just feels like salt in the wound following this season.

It's either Plonsky's parting shot, or else Patterson is giving us his first indication that he will be DeLoss on steroids when it comes to squeezing blood out of a turnip.

Either way, somebody in Belmont is an official gouger.

Probably realizing they aren't going to sell our allotment so trying to make as much as possible per sold ticket to make up for unsold tickets.

I got the email from UT tonight and just filed it. Of course that action will make me a bad fan to some on this board. [IMG]

You'll likely find tix for $25 apiece outside the stadium the day of the game, but you could probably say the same about most bowl games. One could buy tix for $20 apiece outside the stadium in our first Rose Bowl game against Michigan.

The Alamo Bowl will be one of the few bowls that will be a total sell out. I would be shocked if you could get $ 25.00 tickets. I live in SA so go every year.

I'll be buying tix and having a tailgate.

Thank goodness it's up and back without a hotel and air fare.

I bought 30 yardline tickets outside the stadium last year for $20 each. This year will be no different. Bought my Baylor ticket yesterday for $10

I bought 4 tickets to this year's game at $21 each with a $10 fee last June from a Special sent to me by the Alamo bowl. Keep in mind, the tickets are in the upper upper corner of the stadium. In any case, I just bought them in anticipation of going to see whoever was playing.

BTW HornsinHutto, you were the exception last year at the Alamo Bowl.

I had friends that left the tailgate 2 hours prior to kickoff and looked for reasonably discounted tickets until 30 minutes after kickoff. They ended up watching it at a Mexican restaurant close to the stadium They were not alone either as several other groups watching the game there were in the same boat.

Strange. Every bowl game I've been to has had plenty of seats, for 1/2 face or less. Even the 2009 title game vs. Alabama had seats for less than face outside.

Who was playing last year, I forget?

Anyway, the seats that the schools offer, from what I've seen, are usually the worst seats in the house, for reasons I can't figure out. Like upper deck, corner, or end zone, so low you can't see the field. You'd think the schools would get some of the best seats, but they seems to get the crap ones instead.

I would just scalp some outside - I went to Michigan - Nebraska in 2005 for 1/2 face for two, lower level, 30 yard line seats.

Also, to all Alamo bowl goes - beware lower level seats that are on the outer row - the upper level is right over your head, so you feel like you're a homeless bum watching from under a bridge - terrible seats.

I believe you may get busted buying or selling on city property... I got a warning from the cops many years ago at the Alamodome but since I was looking to buy and not selling they let me go without a ticket.
