You know your team is bad when the other coach is fired for not being able to beat you. [IMG]

But, but,.... His team always has a decided schematic advantage in every game. Maybe the advantage he in the NFL was Tom Brady.

Does anyone else remember the ND fans pelting him with snowballs as he ran off the after the last game of the season one year?

Kansas never gets anywhere unless they get extraordinarily lucky and land their own Bill Snyder. Of course, then somebody hires him away. If I were a Kansas alum, I believe I'd get a nice hunting lease in the fall.

That says a lot about Texas as well, you can't be Texas this year, then you get fired.

Mangino would rather eat an entire tenderloin roast than go back to Kansas............

So now a loss to Texas is worthy of dismissal. Even Brady Hoke got to keep his job after losing to Minnesota.

I heard a story that Gus Malzahn was on a plane to accept the Kansas job and then someone in the athletic department got word that Weis was interested and they sent Malzahn home. If that story's true, then whoever made the decision to pass on Malzahn in favor of Weis should be fired too.

That would be a good job for Mack.

The story I heard was that in a press conference this week Weis said something about Texas being able to hand the ball off to Bergeron. I guess that was taken to mean that he hadn't bothered to scout this year's Texas team and was basically "mailing it in".

Mangino was very good when at Kansas and I'm concerned about the Iowa State game with him as offensive coordinator.

Can you get flood insurance in Kansas? I'm sure the tears of the restaurant owners and grocery store managers are causing never before seen flood levels.

If that AD has half a brain, he'll go get Ralph Friedgen rather than some unproven wannabe, who if successful will be gone shortly, and if not will be gone shortly. This could be Friedgen's last gig, and the guy can coach, plus Friedgen now weighs less than Weiss, who weighs less than Mangino

Yes, bck, and the Big XII allows them to keep all of that cash, which is more than they take in on football. People bitched about the Longhorn Network funds, but no one says a thing about KU's basketball money.
