I don't go to Texags (why would I, they come to us) but they will be ok. They still got hashtags, swag, and nicknames.
I feel sorry for Kenny Hill. He got their hopes up by beating South Carolina, now he's looking like a freshman QB on a weak team. So, of course, they're crapping all over him.
Who cares about now? Ags think they would have won a national championship in 2012 if they had stayed in the Big XII. Their delusion knows no limits.
Aggy got his furry little backside spanked, ou blew a game, and the Horns pulled out a tough conference win. That makes it a good day. Still, I won't talk too much junk while my team is 3-4.
We should beat Tech, but who else? 5-7 looks to be the best we can do this year. It's hard to win when you give up 35 points. (Where did our defense go?)
^^^ If you saw the D for the previous 3-4 games and saw it yesterday and think we are going to just give up 35 points every time, I don't know what to tell you. As it was the first time this season that we have seen them have trouble even in the first half, I am willing to wait for at least another game before talking like we are a Manny Diaz team on the D side. These guys are still so much better fundamentally coached than the teams we have had in the last 3-4 years, and lack of missed tackles is a prime indication. They were flat yesterday though; no doubt. Anyway, if the D comes back (and seeing CS' record on that count, I hardly have doubt on it) and we have the O starting to really do their job in all kinds of ways, I can fully well see us even running the table still, though that is indeed a tall order. 3-2 from now on is not that improbable, with 1 road upset and 1 home upset.
Swoopes confidence is totally different since the OU game. You can tell he wants to be the man now. I could see us going 3-2 for sure. Are we better then the teams on our schedule? No. But I'm not sure we're worse then any of them either.
Aggy was always going to be 7-5 or 6-6 type team this year. But the SC game was fools gold. It inflated the naive and gullible fan base into believing they REALLY had the reincarnation of Johnny Football. POOOOOR AGGGY
I don't follow aggy much at all. In fact I still have not seen that JFF guy play (if you can believe that). Did not watch a single snap of their games since the day they left B12 and haven't bothered about them... Being in California, not a lot of their games are ever on TV anyway. But I happened to turn the TV on this weekend and by mistake happened to see them play for the first time since the Justin Tucker kick. And what do I see, but aggy being worse than aggy ever was. I guess I missed nothing after all. So just for fun I snooped around today to see what the aggy guys must be feeling... Somehow ended up at this page The Link Huh? The QB was passing out at a bar Thursday night and getting carried out by girls or something.... Whatever. I don't know if it's true, but I decided that aggy is still aggy, and that I am better off remaining unconcerned about it's existence. Did not investigate further.
THIS: "I think is perfectly ok to talk a little junk. None of us had unreasonable expectations going into this season. We just wanted to see some progress and promise. We got that. This is the kind of aggy I love. The aggy that is getting knocked flat on their asses by reality that cannot be glossed over, even to themselves, by any of their internal denial or BS rationale"
What's truly hilarious is that they are turning not only on Sumlin but on the Texags Staff themselves. I am sure this link won't be up for long but it's choice! texags.com/forums/5/topics/2547415
