For anyone wanting to watch the Cardinal before Texas plays them on Thursday.

The Texas game will be on the PAC 12 network for those that get it on their TV provider.

Stanford playing UConn tough. The Cardinal are rotating a lot players in and out.

and then missed a last second layup to tie it. UConn up 40-38 at the half. Orrange and Thompson really motor up and down the court. Both like to penetrate. Stanford's posts are doing a good job making things tough for UConn's posts. I like UConn's Nurse. Very poised.

what really stands out about UConn is their shooters making shots when they get the ball. They were having trouble in the first half when Stanford made their run but so far in the second, the Huskies are knocking down those open looks they get from ball movement or penetration.

Stewart showing her range as she hits another 3 to push the UConn lead to 9. Stanford has gone cold.

that hurt. UConn ends up at the line again after grabbing the FT miss by Jefferson.

oh, man. clutch three by Orrange! Blown defensive assignment by UConn. She was wide open for that shot. 1.4 seconds left.

Stanford feeling it. up 85-84. Can they close it out and knock off the Huskies? Certainly rooting for them.

wow, their senior never got a shot off. 2.6 seconds left and time to get a decent look and UConn never got past halfcourt. Kudos to the Cardinal. They pull off the upset 88-86. [IMG]

Well our trip to Palo Alto just got a lot tougher than anticipated. I think we'll be better defensively than Uconn was tonight, just not sure if we'll be able to put up as many points. As good a barometer as any to find out where we are as a program

Beating UConn is good for WBB, but winning in the NCAA tournament is what counts.

After spending the morning breaking down the box score, I have some concerns rolling into Thursday. Our turnovers being the main one. Stanford was really good in transition last night and we do not need to do them any favors in their building. We've also got to rebound better, w/o Imani Kelsey and Nneka have to be dialed in and staying out of foul trouble. I still think it's a winnable game, I now know we have to eliminate about 2/3's of the mistakes we made on Saturday. Now is where the staff show's they can win with elite level talent

I don't believe Stanford or UConn will make the Final Four this year. UConn is not deep this year, and depend on B.Stewart too much. And Stanford better develop a Post game.Because a good defensive team. Will shut those's 3 guard's down.

Dino, Uconn is deeper this year than they were last year hands down. He was down to a 6 player rotation. Never bet against Gino, that never pans out

I think UCONN will miss Dolson more than anything this year and it showed in how Stanford was able to be physical with Stewart. Dolson was a very crafty, smart and physical player who didn't mind setting a hard pick or making a clean hard foul to send a message.

While Stanford's starting guards scored almost half of their points, the posts combined for a pretty decent 26 pts. Stanford is more than a one trick pony.
