For the fourth time in five games, Oklahoma State will be at home, this time to face the Texas Longhorns. Having dispatched SE Louisiana in their season opener, 61-7, the Cowboys lost in Stillwater 30-27 to Central Michigan. Their third home game produced a narrow 45-38 victory over Pitt. On Saturday the team traveled to Waco and suffered a tough loss to Bailor while being held to a season low 24 points in the five hour contest. Three fumbles and an interception helped seal their fate.
The Cowboys' turnover troubles (8 fumbles/3 interceptions) are good news for the Longhorns defense that only has the loneliest number after three games.
With an extra week of practice, hopefully Gilbert has added a slant or middle-anything to the game plan.
What to expect:
- One trick play
- Two defensive turnovers
- Three defensive sacks
- Four rushing touchdowns
- Texas wins 45-26
Weather forecasts show a high of 78° with plenty of sunshine for Saturday's 11AM kickoff.
