Why not use Swoopes as a running back for at least the rest of the game?

Agree, but it wouldn't have mattered with the D we have.

Because he doesn't know how to play the position. Hitting the hole, timing, positioning, route running, pass blocking, etc.

Cary, so he'd fit in on defense ;)

Losing our smash brothers is a HUGE loss going into OU weekend that no one is talking about because of bigger issues, omg

Are they both definitely out? Also, what happened to Holton Hill!

Especially pissed that we lost Foreman to a cheap shot that was uncalled by a ref who watched it happen right in front of him.

I agree. There were a lot of missed calls.

Looks like we will see what Gilbert is made of this weekend with his two 250 pounders hurt. Now we have a regular spread attack with an average sized RB. Vanilla play calling won't cut it this weekend.

Depth chart thread shows Foreman and Warren listed as 1 and 2. :confused2:

I hope they are good to go, and Charlie wants it to be a surprise.

Saw an article that says Foreman is supposed to be available but Warren is likely out for the game. Hopefully time with the hot tub, ice baths and a masseuse is all Foreman needs and it isn't something that is made worse by playing this weekend...

What about RS FR Tristian Houston? is he available? he's a big back that could take some of the pounding off Foreman. didn't he show well in the Spring?

Too bad Johnson is also hurt as Porter isn't quite there yet.

Well, rightfully so to this point, Gilbert has received a lot of accolades. Now one of his main backs is down. This is where we see what kind of coach and OC he is, IMO.

I think he will pull out the stops this week. I look for Heard to be more active in various ways this week.

So here is the AAS article on the availability of Warren III & D. Foreman for OU. Kinda curious also why T. Houston is not really being considered as an option.
