The currently married man and woman have three children from their 12 year marriage. I think the line can be drawn on people marrying their pets because of the consent issue. However, I've heard liberals try to rationalize why gay marriage is a fundamental right but polygamy is not, and it's laughably weak. It's like Brad and Joe trying to explain why Trump hasn't lied or flip-flopped on anything. Frankly, I don't see why this couple is bothering with a divorce. Just show up try to marry as a threesome and file suit. If you follow the logic of Obergfell, a law against gay marriage is no more arbitrary than a law against polygamy.
