Pretty much lost interest in the NFL around the mid-80's but Fournette has big-time bust written all over him to me.
He's just been superior physically to the competiton for the most part and doesn't play with heart when the going gets tough.

I rarely watch it, too. Same for NBA.

 

Somewhat agree with LC. Games on CBS, NBC and Fox are watchable. Games on NFL Network (not Thursday games with CBS or NBC crew) are hard to watch due to their "experts" who have personal agenda's beyond the game they are working. However, MNF on ESPN is hard to watch not only due to the announcing crew, but the constant "how great ESPN and the $EC are" just wears me down.

 

Mid 90's for me. The existence of Jerry Jones combined with the hiring of Switzer left me without a team to root for and that was pretty much it.

 

Hopefully Watson pays it forward. He seems like a really good kid.

 

Warrick Dunn is an extraordinary human being, losing his mother his senior year in HS, and taking over responsibility of rearing his siblings. While I'm not sure we had a chance of getting his cousin, I talked to them in Tallahassee after the UVA/FSU game in 96 (???). I teased them that Coach Bowden had put him in endzone seats for the game but I was on the 50 yd line. Mackovic's personality never gave us a real shot, he did pull several kids off that Catholic HS team including Major Applewhite, but the young cousin went to FSU and started at RB.

Millions of kids could learn from Warrick Dunn, his story, and his accomplishments before he got to the NFL, much less since.
