KD says he won't visit White House, hints other Warriors won't either

This is how I feel.
President Obama was JUST AS divisive as President Trump. Every bit.

However, if a politically conservative athlete refused to go to the White House and meet the President because the man was divisive, I would call that petty and immature.

It is, of course, his exclusive right not to go meet anyone he doesn't want to for any reason he sees fit. It's my right to have an opinion and yours to have an opinion about mine, etc. I mainly hope for consistency (intellectual honesty) and general decorum. (Even when others do not display such.)

 

That's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. The only reason president Obama was considered divisive was because he was black. I seem to recall a football player that was kicked off the team at Texas because he called Obama an N word when he was elected. Obama never talked about how he likes to sexually assault women like Trump did.

Obama didn't put known racist in his administration like Trump did. Obama didn't collude with Russia like Trump did. Obama also wasn't as incompetent and as dumb as a box of rocks like Trump is. Hell, he's almost gotten rid of every person in his administration.

 

Really? It wasn't because he said,"...you lost so shut up and deal with it?" That man spent ZERO energy on bringing the country together and did everything in his power to pit blacks against whites. But you obviously think he hung the moon.

Obummer could have been white, yellow, red, green or purple and his policies would STILL have been derided in the manner in which they are and have been. The fact that his policies SUCKED and are recognized as such is NOT due to his race.

He was the worst PotUS in my lifetime, and I was alive when the peanut farmer was in office. The ONLY good thing about Carter was in the interest on the certificates of deposit that served as my presumptive college fund.

 

Umm...no. If Obummer's policies were so great and the ONLY problem was that he was black, then the country would have had its first corrupt white female as the successor to the office. But the policies sucked, as did the candidate for the office. The voters spoke and the candidate that understood how electoral votes work won the election...

I really don't care one iota whether Durant visits the White House or not. Couldn't care less. Would feel the same way if he went.

Really glad he won an NBA championship though.

 

Inviting sports teams and athletes to the White House is a tradition intended to honor the athletes, not to bolster the President in any way. If they don't want to go, f-em. Doesn't hurt Trump in any way. I'll still vote for him if he runs again.
