Blocking Sled

Looking at that picture of the Blocking Sled makes me want to touch myself.

It makes me hot. I'm steaming for the Blocking Sled.

 

Isn't "sled" the past tense of "slide?"
For example: "The best part of you sled down your daddy's leg."

 

Not sure, but I think the past tense of slide is either slad or slud. Don't thinks it's sled.
