Linc Riley rumored to be hiring Bennie Wylie as S&C

I would like to go to Dallas with the better conditioned team for the first time in 30 years.

 

Is Benny the Pit of Misery guy, or am I thinking of someone else?

 

He was S&C coach for us from 2011 - 2014. Based on his work with the Cowboys & at Tech, I had great hopes for the guy. I had to keep reminding myself that after that lardass. Mr T wannabe, anyone that could read the amount on the weights would be an improvement.

Many more Texas Tech hires, and we can start referring to the land thieves as "Sand Aggie Lite".

 

I believe you are thinking of Pat Moorer, Charlie's S&C guy.
Wylie was hired by Mack, I believe the same year he hired Harsin. We had great hopes for him, but the word was that he was hurting the feelings of the players, causing Mack to call him off. Don't know how true that was, just what was going around.

 

So this is different than Mad Dog's sandbox?

Puppy Dog's "sandbox" was filled with marsh mellows. NEVER has there been a bigger waste of University money than on that clown.

We sure seemed better-conditioned in 1999, 2006 and 2008. Possibly 2013 through 2015 as well.
