Looks like I will be saturated with WBB this Saturday. I can watch OSU at OU, then TX at TT. Then I will go to the KSU vs BU game and tune my chromebook to Cyclone TV and catch glances of WV at ISU. Yep, by the time the day is over I will be completely staturated. I suspect TX will be catching the Red Raiders at a mighty high point, having won their 1st conference game. They have guns but I'm afraid some of them are not loaded. I predict TX by 24.
Woof. End of first quarter in Norman and OU leads 11-8. OSU commits 6 TOs in the quarter and Loren Goodwin is scoreless. Combined 9 of 34 shooting from the field. Edit: Just 2 minutes into the 2nd quarter and Pierre-Louis picks up her 3rd foul.
stats have Pierre-Louis with two but she is back out there late in the second quarter. Looks like she was able to play without picking up another foul. OU has no one inside to counter OSU's posts without her. 26-19 OSU at the half, pretty low scoring game.
Man, we thought Brooke’s slump was rough. Loryn Goodwin was 0 for 17 until a steal leads to a layup with 6:00 left in the game.
turned into a very exciting game. gotta feel for Maddy. thought she had given OU the lead with that layup that was waved off due to a walk.
OU has some very good frosh guards. with the ones coming in next season, they will be tough in the backcourt for the next few years. They are going to inexperienced inside with losing both Manning and Louis-Pierre. Only 6-4 Jr. Ijeoma Odimgbe will return in the post and she will have only limited experience. They welcome in a 6-2 F and a 6-5 post. They will have to learn quickly.
Big 12 schedule is very odd. After tonight, Baylor will have already played ISU and KSU twice. We haven't played ISU or Baylor yet. And, last year, we went to Waco first. So, this year, it should be reversed But, somehow we go to Waco first again, with the second game in Austin.
Noticed the same during the OSU-OU game. They’ve already played twice but OSU has yet to play Baylor, TCU, ISU or Kansas.
It's very puzzling, but I believe it mostly has to do with how travel has been affected since WVU joined the conference.
Was looking at today’s schedule and, as weird as the Big 12 schedule is, it’s not nearly as strange as the PAC 16 scheduling Oregon-Oregon St in back to back games just 2-5 days apart since the 2012-2013 season.
geez, when I saw that on the tv schedule, I thought it was a replay of the first game it was so soon after the first one.
Whew ! You guys have taken a lot stress off me. I saw the upcoming Oregon-Oregon State game scheduled on TV and I was ashamed of myself. I thought I must have mistakenly watched last year's game earlier on Friday night! My sanity is slightly less in question knowing they play 2 games this close together.
