Dude the entire game plan of the 2nd half looks as if it was to run the clock out with a 19 point lead
Love how Herman points at the play clock once Ehlinger looks over. Idiot. He definitely has the same "issues" that people at Westlake said he had, like standardized testing scores a whole standard deviation lower than the average.
OK - our QB can't read a defense, had the accuracy of a 74 year old grandmother, and now can't read the ******* play clock?
Ok... counting my blessing. We've not won in Manhattan since 2002. We have the lead, the ball, the clock is below 2 minutes and running. Feels right.
Thankfully Sam makes boneheaded clock management, but uses said bonehead very well with QB rushes up the middle.
We scored 10 offensive points in this game. Not sure what we'll do differently next week, but it better be something.
Completely agree with your first point. You must have watched a different game if you thought it was well done.
Snyder is a class act. Doesn't all the time-out. Spends time chatting with Herman. Some coaches would call that time-out out of spite. I saw Major do that last week against Tech.
One can only hope that this was a wakeup call for next week. They cakewalked through the motions after the safety and we went up 16-0.
