LSU helmets

gameday made such a big deal about how LSU helmets were painted with special paint, costing $1500 a gallon, and would magically change colors under the lights ... they look the same to me as they did during the day, purple

Me thinks LSU bought magic beans from the same helmet paint vendor Aggy did with that glow in the dark for a Day game helmet

What am I missing?

 

you have to be wearing the special glasses ($195 a pair) to get the full effect of the light-enhanced technicolor helmets.

 

LSU = tricking up their unis thereby losing their membership in the classic blue bloods discussion.

I noticed it. It looked pretty cool. Probably not worth all that money.

 

As I recall, Ohio St has worn "blackout" uniforms, as well as some ugly grey outfits which took them off that list for me.
