Hey KM, tap the brakes. U ain’t no Bo. Might want to win your division first, then a conference, then a Heisman, then be all star in both NFL and MBL. By my count you have none of those.

What is it about these OU quarterbacks that they are just so full of themselves? Zero humility. Zero perspective.

Kyler is a real gem. Everything about him exudes cockiness, arrogance and a spectacularly inflated image of himself. I really hope the kid fails miserably.

The posts following that article are hilarious.
Bo Jackson was tip-top in 2 sports at the same time at the professional level.
K Murray is pretty tip-top in 2 sports (yes, he is) at the same time in amateurs.

    That's pretty darn different.
It will be a long-shot that he ever compares to Danny Ainge, who played 3 years in majors in baseball and 14 years in NBA, with 2 championship rings. Much less Deion Sanders or Bo Jackson.

I suppose this was an effort to begin to build his "brand" for marketing him after he goes pro, but by comparing himself to Bo Jackson, it is a complete failure and a backfire.

Better the kid starts his marketing campaign comparing himself to Bo Jackson than comparing himself to Hart Lee Dykes.

About the only similarity I see between him and Bo is they both got their asses kicked by TEXAS.

Jerry Gray Laughs at Bo, and 32 years later, Kaden Sterns laughs at Kyler.

Well, Bo Jackson didn't beat Texas either. So Kyler has that going for him.

I don’t have a problem with it. I give him kudos for going and playing. Don’t like facing him, but it’s his time to shine.
I haven’t read an article, and can’t find where he compares himself to Bo yet, but don’t mind the picture.
OBTW brilliant marketing campaign, and great commercial by Nike.

Guess I’m old school. The me, me, ME (!) culture disgusts “me.” We are creating a whole generation of self-absorbed people who will probably contribute little and expect everything for free.

I’m probably going to be directed to the West Mall but, well, no wonder the poster child for “I want everything for nothing,” Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, just won a seat in the House.

It’s a Heisman campaign guys. Do you actually think he came up with the idea for the photo? A lot of shade being thrown at a kid that Texas recruited pretty hard.

    slow,

Imagine the righteous indignation on this board if he had posed as Mayfield or Bosworth. He's got his nearly $5 million waiting in January, but the campaign could enhance his football legacy and Linc's recruiting. OU helped him, now he's trying to help OU.

People need to remember that this a kid that was ours for the taking but Strong humped the puppy. Sure his dad played at A&M, but Kyler is following in his uncle's footsteps, the same uncle that only Texas gave an opportunity, and also the same school that treated his aunt really well.

Kid is an amazing talent, whom I have enjoyed watching perform.

It's been a while since Bo ended his career. He loved baseball, even if he was a certain superstar in football. His life and career would have been better If he had stuck with baseball after Tampa Bay shafted him.

Granted he’s one heck of a talent, but sort of a rag doll as well who goes down in a heap if you get close. (True, few do.)

I’m glad he didn’t choose Texas. Personally I can do without these types of prissy, self-absorbed kids on our team, but that’s just me.

Let me add that to me, Bo maintained a measure of humility even though he was truly a transformational athlete. I respect Bo for that.

I didn’t see Bo crying on the sidelines after his team lost to Texas like the little b..... Murray did after the OU game.

it's a bit douchey for a kid that hasn't yet accomplished anything.

but...that's the point. it's a Heisman campaign. it's supposed to be attention getting. it's supposed to force people to compare him to a previous superstar/Heisman winner. so i think it's a very effective campaign.
