Sam never gives up. Nobody ever gives up. Our guys make me proud. Great heart. We need a break, we need a little bit of luck.
That is at least twice this year that Dicker got the ideal bounce but our hands team couldn't get it...
True VY and those who predicted a 10-2 regular-season record will be proven correct. But Texas not being ready to play their rival says a lot of negatives about the current team. We could very well see a complete defensive coaching overhaul. Poor execution and scheme cannot be forgiven. When you lay an egg counts. All of that said if ou doesn't stumble (and they shouldn't) the loss margin will be bigger in the CCG because, despite what the CFP Committee says, score margin does matter. This should put Texas back in a New Year Day Bowl as bowl representative of the Big XII.
"10 yard gain...injured Longhorn". Man, for such a physical team, Texas is prone to injury. How do you think is explained?
I’ve been saying for a long time we go 10-3 before the bowl, losing to OU twice and LSU, running the table otherwise. The question is, can’t we acknowledge that that would be a step forward?
Texas just will never get the upper hand on ou. Even if we beat them they will win the conference. Texas is pathetic in Big XII play.
Hate the loss. This defense will be good with more experience. The poor tackling is just a sign of youth and will get better in time.
This is a joke right? We made OU's defense look like a top 10 defense. Watch the other Big 12 teams demolish their D this season and then come back and tell me how our offense wasnt that bad.
I don't think a 1-score game against OU is necessarily any better step forward than all the other times we lost to them by a score over the past 11 games.
Not a joke; so go on record saying what change you want to make after this 7-point loss. Go ahead....
Right there on 2nd and 6, in a clock-killing situation, they bring jet motion right to left, seal the right end, run misdirection with Hurts keeping to that side and end the game. Simple but effective. Not that Texas can finish tackles, though. I cannot for the life of me understand why the Texas offense tends to play so clumsy and put itself in peril on so many series, often being forced to convert 3rd and long.
