Shout out to clock keeper

Sam runs ball to 48 with 32 seconds left in game ref signals to start clock but it doesnt until the ball is snapped a good 4-5 seconds dont run off clock. In stadium I saw it happen and wondered if no one else noticed but then I watched replay on LHN and you can actually hear the KU coaches in next booth yelling about the clock not running as Galindo calls next play.

Then on final FG, it goes through with at least 1 and maybe 2 seconds left but clock runs out, no miracle kickoff play possible.

Clock keeper decided to even up for a couple of awful officiating calls that went KU's way on fumble and a pass interference.

 

Speaking of scoreboard, what was up with whomever works the ‘down and distance’ on the board? Was screwy throughout the night. I noticed it most in 2nd half.

 

Been that way all year. In one game he credited Texas takeaways as turnover’s for Texas instead of the other team. Whoever is running it is a moron.

 

Also had the ball icon shown next to KU when Texas had the ball. Timeout’s were not shown until the first one was called. Also I swear the scoreboard showed Texas had 1 timeout left just before the play at 8 second mark.

 

Pay the man, if that’s the issue. With that and the blasting sound it makes me sick. I have a Craig W (even with the d**** delay) in one ear and an ear pad in the other. Only issue is when wife says something to me.

 

This happens on every FG ever. I don't know what the rules actually are there, but I wonder if they say the clock doesn't stop until the ball hits something.

 

And the issue with that is what again?

(If my wife reads this I’m a dead man.)

Well, we do not benefit from home field advantage from the refs, so give us something.

Well at least Les Miles can't complain about the CFP conspiracy. We aint making it no way no how...

 

Interesting because I remember thinking....Oh, there are 5 seconds left so after the kick there will be 1 or 2 seconds so we'll have to kick off....then it was over instead. Agree great job by the time guy.
