Not sure where BU’s head will be after giving up a 25 point lead. Also, defense is pretty beat up after being on the field for a high percentage of the second half. I’m not a gambler but I wouldn’t touch this game.
Impossible to know what happens. Can Baylor and their fans get back up like they were at the 1st of that game. Also, I'm still not sold on them. They should have lost to Tech, went to overtime with TCU. Not like they are blowing anyone out. Caught a huge wave in the 1st half against OU but then played maybe the worst half I've ever seen. They got outscored 34-3. Played well against KState and OSU is kind of a weird game as they had 5 turnovers. Rest of their wins were very close. Even Rice. I don't count games against high school teams. Main thing is don't leave our corners on Mims without safety help. Stay in your rush lanes and we can win this game. Our biggest issue is we haven't played well on the road all year. Much better at home.
Agree, the key is Mims, must have safety help over the top. Hope Sterns and Foster are OK. Foster left with an injury but reentered the game. Same for Sterns.
I actually thought we rushed pretty well against ISU. Purdy got the ball out quickly but often not to the spot he would have wanted to.
Bailor has shown in more than one game that they lack an ability to do anything outside of the game going to overtime. Once it hits OT, errbody gets a score. And, in the game where they DID get a big lead early, they choked on it and did nothing in the second half. Contrast this with a Texas squad that does next to nothing offensively except for BE offensive and a defense that gives up an early score then tries to hold on for dear life and it is easy to see how this got set as a four-point spread early in the week. That being said, I have already seen this one get up to six points in multiple locations. Circa has it at five with an O/U of 62.
