I'll just say that if that was targeting, then there have been half a dozen missed targeting calls in this game, including the one that knocked Higgins out for most of the quarter.
Ho-hum, another Burrows TD pass... 42-25 now. Plenty of time time but Clemson needs to answer with 7 very soon...
We're expecting dense sea fog tomorrow morning so I have the perfect excuse for sleeping in and making a late appearance at the office, lol.
probably Lawrence's worst game, at least the games I've seen---throws are off, and when he has someone open he puts a lot of hot sauce on it when the touch is what the pass needs...
LSU defender didn't have opportunity to catch the ball because he was too busy grabbing Clemson receiver's jersey. Geez louise!
Questionable, sure, but defensible. Offensive player initiated the grabbing, used both hands to do so, and tossed the defender to the side. Defender's grab was in response to that, while falling over.
LSU has it all this year. Clemson deserves to be here but will wonder what Ohio state would have done...
All these season-long records ... Well yeah now that you have more games in a season and multiple postseason games. For example, 2005 Texas still scored more per game even though the rules were less biased towards the offense than they are now. Also played in fewer close games (ditto for 2001 Miami). But everyone will be talking like 2019 LSU is the best offense or best team of the BCS/playoff era.
Congrats to LSU, clearly a deserving national champ. Excellent coaching, very good players, cool under pressure.
They lose a lot more than just Joe. Receivers, D, it will be a new team. This team was special. Next years could be too, but no guarantee. Circa Texas 2006 and we had our entire OLine back. Still beating LSU in BR will be no easy task. Good to know what you have early.
Caught a pass from Roger as a kid at camp a jillion years ago. Jammed my finger. Sat on his lap while he consoled me. Maybe I was 6 years old? True story; what a great human.
