I have a page. Do not use and has no real information.
I got friend request from a Gen John A Bradley. Do not know this person. I accepted request so I could send one message that it was an error on his part. Then unfriended .
I googled this Bradley. The info on Facebook is fake. FB has him going to west point . All the info on gogle sites has him graduating from Tennessee.
So why would someone create a fake FB page and try to friend a stranger? Is there some way they can get sensitiive info ?

Not unless you give it to them. Possibly if you accepted the friend request they'd message you with some sort of bogus shpiel trying to fish for information.

Sometimes PIs and the like will use FB to get info on people they are investigating. Most people on FB do not have their info private, so, if you accept the friend request, then they can get info on you from your FB page.

    Thanks PE
That is what I thought which is why I have no real info on FB
I just wonder why this supposed General would ask to friend me when I do not know him
And the info on his FB page is fake.

Those folks who use FB to shop for info use fake personas, not their own. Maybe this person thinks you would be more likely to accept if it came from a semi-famous person.

    Thanks
That of course won't happen but I did not know if there was some weird way he or whomever could get my info. I have none out there on the net
