Is it the job of the Supreme Court to interpret laws or make laws? No one could honestly agree that the 1964 Civil Rights Act was ever intended to apply to gay or transgendered people. This act could easily be amended by congress to include those groups, but it absolutely was not the meaning 1964 or any year after until the Supreme Court declared words meaningless today. In short, you have identified yourself as believing the ends justify the means. It makes sense now that you approve of extortion or are trying to tell us extortion is bad manners.

No, you are telling everyone who disagrees that they are fascist or racist. It's not that simple....its actually a very lazy argument.

Seriously? You specifically called people who disagree with the players Fascists. You then referred to them as racist. This is the problem. Both times I asked a question.
I applied that question to no one and called no one a name.
There was nothing specific about it.
From the students perspective they are standing up to systemic racism.
That is the perspective I was speaking to.

Our situation along with okie state seems to show how selfish these players are and one reason why we haven't turned the corner. The current big time winning programs for the most part have more cohesive teams, which is a big reason they're better. Obviously, these are young kids, mine included, who are wrongly influenced by the hypocritical liberal media and liberal politicians. They can't see how hypocritical they are with protesting and riots being ok but criticizing everything else that doesn't fit the liberal agenda. Liberal media makes up about 90% of the total so it's almost a given most people are being mislead. And yes, Fox is more fair than the others, and if you disagree then you aren't watching.

Here's the history I just read.
Robt. E. Lee used to end his addresses at Washington & Lee University with the words "the eyes of the south are upon you".
A supposed racist UT president decided to copy that and at the end of his addresses would say "the eyes of Texas are upon you".
I believe it was The Cowboys group that decided to make fun of the president and wrote the song by putting lyrics to the tune of I've Been Working on the Railroad.
They would then stage minstrel shows wearing black face and sing this song.
This was somewhere around 1900.

Pretty sure every single person who sings that song sings it as a song supporting Longhorns and with its "warnings" directed to opponents in jest....and that is ALL on anyone's mind.
Ironic those wanting to create change and progress have now...in a typical self-fulfilling prophetic manner... created an aura of racism today in regards to the song that was on virtually no ones radar previously.
Need proof?? Just look at all the media outlets - including UT outlets themselves - who were unanimously like, "Wait...what?!?...The Eyes of Texas is racist??"

....I guess if they were trying to write a racist song and perpetuate racism and immortalize racists they should have done a better job and been more blatant about it.
