And the Hornfans.com myth lives on. Briles could have voted us #1 and left OU out of his top 25 entirely and it would have made no difference.
Rather different. The preseason poll has everyone at 0-0. In this case, Texas will be 6-0 before a Pac-12 team plays a game! Is Oregon going to sit at #16 for the next 6 Saturdays?
It's basic arithmetic. Plus their lead in the computers was insurmountable. We got screwed but not because of Briles.
CBS Poll: Clemson Alabama Texas Florida Miami UCF Notre Dame Georgia Auburn Cincinnat CBS Releases Week 5 College Football Top 10, Stunning No. 3 Pick I can dig it.
^I'm going to tap the brakes a bit on this one - Top Ten, definitely, #3 a bit too high based on what we've seen so far. If the Longhorns can earn an impressive win against TCU and dominate them in all phases of the game, I could see moving up to the middle of the Top Ten.
In a way....I dont disagree. I believe outside of Clemson, Ohio St , Bama and ????idk....that's it, you could take the next 10-12 on any given day and no one really knows who would win...it'd be a heck of a tourney and Texas would have about as good a chance as any to win or lose on any given day. That's the truth. CBS poll looks to have obviously no teams who havent played and a "whose most likely to end up atop conferences" feel to it. Doesnt look that far off if at all, if so.
Of course, TT barely escapes HBU, we barely escape TT so we go to three? Nah, not practical. Plus I don’t ever like having that kind of target to motivate the opponent.
Second time Ive got called out for inappropriate EF posting. Covid has been tough on my judgment. I will self quarantine my jokes until Saturday and post appropriately.
Sabre.....but Mond has the elitist, best and wealthiest coach in the universe so ags should just blow Ala away winning by any margin Jumbo wants. JF will keep Mond cool, calm and ready.....NO CONTEST here!!! SEC SEC SEC sec
