Maybe you heard me in the stands screaming to “stay on the field” and “where are you going”? And then a hearty “screw you Tom Herman”.
Herman ought to be defending the university. He is an employee. President said the Eyes is fine. Ricky and Earl said it was fine. Stay on the field after the game or ship out. ****, I would be fine if they didn’t raise their arms for a hookem. I saw 5 players and 2 of them had their arms raised: Sam and one other. I sit above where they enter the locker rooms. No one has a a better view than me.
Now that's the worst part of the game. I've seen plenty of Texas losses. What I haven't seen is a team that doesn't' care about the fans, or the traditions created by players far better than them. Who are these losers to insult the traditions of Colt, Vince, Major, Chris, James Brown, Street, Ricky, Earl, and all the rest? I'd be fine with running the whole team off, and suiting up guys from IM Field. At least they would be 1. Real student athletes who had the brains and work ethic to earn a spot at UT 2. Proud to be a Longhorn, and honor the great traditions of the school. Good for you for calling them out. And good for Sam for being proud of the traditions of Texas. And too bad he's saddled with such a loser of a team and coach. Imagine if he'd gone to a better football school that Texas currently is, and what level of success he could have achieved.
Popping in to say the team itself who refuses to sing the Eyes and everyone supporting the anti-Eyes of Texas BS are getting what they deserve. I said back in June that you could write off the season after this divisive BS on the Eyes that this team started. The Rutgers DC is also helping with the implosion. I will be happy to see Herman and all the anti-Eyes loser players gone... hopefully after this year.
Eff every single one of these pricks. I hope they don't win another football game in college and don't get drafted. They can all rot as far as I'm concerned.
My first year at UT we lost four games. A couple years later we won a NC and has a 30 game win streak. This team is loaded and this season is a bumper car ride. It ain’t over. And TCU has a longtime coach whose team typically does not get a dozen penalties in one game. So should we go to the TCU president and tell him to fire his coach? it is nice to see all the whiney weepers aren’t at A&M
I am not giving money to TCU so I shouldnt go to him at all. However I wish they would fire Patterson so maybe we could hire him. I think their president is probably smarter than ours and realizes what he has. You are right the winey weepers are not all at a&M,they are the ones whineing that they shouldnt have to sing the eyes. Maybe they should transfer to A&M.
I would like to know what % of time the team spent on social justice, BLM and the players making videos lecturing all of us instead practicing. Things like tackling, not making penalties. How to coach against the other team. Minor $hit like that.
Don’t want to but I disagree. I knew when we could not run against Utep and then what we did with TT we were living with the allusion of orange colored glasses re-our ‘talent’.
Sam is a class act. Makes one wonder if all of this social nonsense is dividing the team. It is easy to say you are together until you start losing. I cant help but think their minds are not on football. Too many mental mistakes. Dropped balls, wrong routes, offsides, motion infractions and on and on. Some may be coaching but it is on the players. I am certainly not taking up for Herman, but he is going nowhere, not this year or next.
I'm pretty sure its "I've wanted to sing the eyes from the field with fans my entire life and I'm not going to miss out in my last year"
Maybe in two years we can be shed of all these yoyos. When we recruit players if they dont want to sing the eyes, go somewhere else. Berkley would be a good choice.
No 03, not necessarily saying that, although I don’t think we out talent them across the board. What I believe is we do not have the ‘elite’ talent above the teams which we seem to claim often on this board. Y biggest issue is why can we never get a running game? I see other teams actually create holes for their running backs and power run for two three yards when they have to have it. That is the area (and often the defense lapses on tackling and coverages) that I question raw talent. Watching other teams on a Sat only confirms my feelings. But no matter what I’m in my seat on Saturday pulling as hard as ever. Oh, and singing the Eyes.
I usually only attend 1 game a year. But I won't attend another one until Social Justice is gone and the whole team sings The Eyes again.
I get what you are saying about all the BS that is going on with the Social Justice crap. I bet it will be the gift that will keep on giving for years to come.
