I wouldn't place much faith in an article published by Orangebloods. Ketchup and his staff are known for posting false stories to generate website clicks.
TH says what he thinks we want to here. Obviously, the team isn't all together and the blame falls squarely on the athletic department, CDC and TH. Once the University President reached a compromise with the students and said we going to keep "The Eyes", that should have ended the controversy. But, TH told the players they could skip the singing of The Eyes and go to their safe place instead if they wanted. That created the mess we're in now and I don't see any way out of it short of bringing in a coach with some balls.
Tommy also said he feels strongly for both sides....like he's not part of this just stuck in the middle between the players and fans. He is NOT a leader. He has now tried to distance himself from the issue like he has no part in it. Hey Tommy, you can't feel strongly with the players that the Eyes is racist then feel strongly with the fans that it's not. Freaking idiot.
Hoff, I was being sarcastic toward Sabre about the portal. I was NOT being sarcastic about the clock ticking on Herman. Not sure what you took as "personal" in either post.

Worster Agree. Hoff's first post in this thread reads exactly how most of us feel. His post to you makes no sense relative to what you posted. I think he just misread it.
we won one close game and lost two others and so lets run off all the dissidents on the team, fire the coaches, fire the AD, run off the band, and while we are at it lets butcher Bevo and make burgers and start calling each other names. This is kind of fun. Lincoln rushed his general into fighting too early and got clipped by a close call at First Bull Run and so lets impeach the stupid bahstad and start all over again with new pres, new generals, a new flag and better uniforms. Yeah, that's the ticket!!! I am an old guy who has been through this before; I recall the demands for Royal's release---just before we went on a thirty game winning streak, which was immediately preceded by a season that started with a loss and a tie. Relax and let the coaches and AD try to right the ship before we go off on another four year experiment.
That’s pretty much why I’ve been saying keep him unless we lose more than three games. That being said, I’m getting a bit worried that we’ll lose 4 or even 5 games ...
hiusache - that's generally about how I feel about early-season "we lost a game, fire the coach" stuff, but this year seems different because. 1) Three straight games we've looked like a really poorly-coached team whose problems are mostly due to bungling things unforced by the opposition, or not giving full effort. It wasn't like Ohio State 2006, West Virginia 2012, or even Oklahoma in 2017 where we played pretty well and just lost to a good team who also played well. Tech, TCU, and Oklahoma all played poorly against us for the most part. 2) Everything was set up for us this year. Senior QB, 15 returning starters, finally not a young team (for only like the 3rd time in 11 years), Oklahoma's best guys from last year almost all graduated, suspended, opting out, or hurt and looking like it might be easily one of their three weakest teams since before Bob Stoops. Entire conference just about having a down year. If we can't do it this year, we aren't likely to do it next year either. 3) The way he doesn't seem to be honest about the problems, continually saying there are no issues in practice or in the locker room. Clearly, there are. This is like whizzing on our heads and telling us that it's rain.
I would like to add ... 4) Every week telling us all of the problems are fixable yet they are never fixed. Special Teams have given up two blocked punts, an on-side kick against, a blocked FG, and a 99 yard kickoff return called back for a penalty, all in four games. Did I miss anything? I'm uphauled.
