Good luck with that. The facts just dont support him as a good coach. Kind of reminds me of gastenkors. Apparently whomever she left behind at duke was the real quality coach as they never missed a beat. You may like shaka but his team is not a threat to do anything in the tourney and my guess is its 1 or 2 and done. Its just easy to see quality coaching and thats not what we have. Some arguments are lets give him time....ok, how many years and why do we pay a premium salary for wait and see?
I expect Shaka gets one more year. Beyond that, it depends on how it goes in the NCAA tourney for the next 2 years. One and done would both years and he's gone. Sweet 16 this year might buy him more time. Elite 8 or better this year likely gets him a contract extension. I'd love to see Shaka build on his progress this year.
