    Donovan Williams - UNLV
    14.6, 3.8 rpg
44.4% on threes. I wish we had kept him around... I liked his HS tape and wondered why he just wasn't getting it done. Needed that change of scenery.

    Royce Hamm - UNLV
    8.8, 10.2 rpg
He gets to the line a lot this year. We just didn't see that type of speed and physicality from him. Again... wish we still had his presence.

    Kameka Hepa - Hawaii
    8.8, 4.4 rpg
Started every game for the Warriors. Not as many blocks as you'd expect from someone his size. 36.7% on threes. I think he's kind of a wash with what we have from Mitchell and Disu.

    Gerald Liddell - Alabama State
    11.0, 4.8 rpg
Obviously, he's not going up against the toughest of Power-conference schools, but he's started most of the games and gets to the FT line a lot.

    Will Baker - Nevada
    11.6, 5.3 rpg
Shooting 60.2% from the floor on 2-pointers. Sadly, it's those kind of shots he SHOULD have been taking at Texas instead of hanging out 15 feet from the basket. I'm still not sure why he was so set on being a perimeter kind of guy out of Westlake.

    Jacob Young - Oregon
    11.1, 2.7 rpg, 2.4 apg
So, he got his 6th year of eligibility thanks to Covid. Playing pretty well after finishing his B1G career as a rockstar at Rutgers. I think his leaving had more to do with getting away from the state of Texas than anything bad that happened to him while in Austin.

Texas should play Marquette in opening round.

I would like to have Hamm back because he can be disruptive on the defensive end, and get his share of rebounds.
Donavan Williams, although he has a very attractive 3 point percentage, needs time to be set and get an open look. In the defensive mad Big12, that would be rare. His percentage would drop below 30%. Also, he was a liability on the defensive end. Both made the right call to leave to increase their playing time, and play against competition that suits their game.
Other than Hamm, (and he was prone to foul trouble) no one on that list would, imo, make a significant difference on our team against B12 competition.
