4* CB interview Longhorns DB Target Jordan Matthews Opens Up on Texas Interest Ahead of Commitment Jordan Matthews, Woodlawn, Cornerback
Didn't he also come out early, skipping his senior season in HS? Ewers hasn't played much football the last couple of years. Is he ready for Bama game 2? I expect Card to get the start with some Ewers sprinkled in.
Coach Dodge mentioned not long ago about not starting freshman at QB and Im of his camp. I really hope Card is the guy. Whatever Sark determines though I'll support, we know Ewers is the future but if he needs to percolate, he needs to percolate. I want to see both guys be successful.
Donnie Little, if I remember correctly, did quite well as a freshman. I can never forget his naked bootleg plays...over and over..to defeat OU.
TFB expects Rogers to end up at LSU. He tripped there while committed to aggy. We're full-on with Toviano.
He really is. The year at Ohio State should have been his senior season in HS. As far as freshman QBs, it's hard to beat James Brown walking out on the Cotton Bowl field for his second possession, looking over at the OU defense and announcing, "Are you guys still here? I thought you'd given up and gone home."
That's cool. JB had some balls. My favorite was the aggie game at CS where he had a bum ankle that was heavily taped. The ag defenders were keying on that ankle, trying to get him out of the game. After one sack where 3 guys all landed on his leg, after they got up, he told them, "Keep bringing it."
IT saw OL Payton Kirkland today and said he's a super football intelligent guy. His mother is moving to Texas around Thanksgiving, and he will enroll early.
IT also seeing DT Jordan Hall today. An official for the Alabama game is in play. Jordan Hall, Westside, Defensive Line
Dion, They get up to three free tickets, so mom and dad get to see a full stadium, one or more great teams, see how their child is treated in adversity should we lose. The atmosphere will be great with 100,000+. Just wish it was a 230 or night game.
[ Having a bunch of.top guys for Bama is a disaster waiting to happen. Especially.for the.2024 class.
Because we are here on this world for the challenges and what better way for a recruit to judge us. Horns perform well as underdogs. Like Georgia in the Sugar Bowl.
Well thats certainly confidence. I really have zero confidence in that position but would love to see it come true. If PK fields the same kind of d as last year the only question is can bama be satisfied with scoring 50 or do they want 100.
It seems like Bama took aggy recruits first, then backed off so Texas could nab a few, and now LSU is coming in to take the remaining ones.
