K-State plays with a wrestler’s mindset and grit. Always. You better be ready for a bare knuckle street fight with these guys as they never give up or give away anything. That’s the way I’ve always remembered them. Kinda like a fist fight with your big brother.
Seems that every B12 team that is not UT or OU is playing lights out against both programs since we’re leaving the rest of the B12 behind with the move to the SEC. Just a thought.

Sanders, the osu qb, is having a terrible game—due in large part to a blitzing defense that is putting unrelenting pressure on him. That is the way to effectively slow him down. Wonder why our D couldn’t figure that out?

The blowout today at Manhattan is the best thing that could have happened for us. Add a loss to OSU, and if Sark needed any motivation for his team, he doesn’t anymore. Let me add that KSU has to be feeing awfully good about themselves. They’re playing Texas, at home, a team that just lost to Okie State. So at least from the mental prep aspect of the game, Sark has an edge over Klieman. Could we still get blown out. Sure. But I doubt it. I expect a close game.

We r 1-6 now on the road?? I don’t expect it to change, we will most likely let KSU hang around till the end of the game which is our MO when we are disinterested and KSU will smell blood in the end or we will barely pull it out by 3 points with some luck like the Iowa St game.

Illinois holds on with a 26-9 victory over Nebraska. That Bielema is a good coach. Nothing fancy. Solid fundamentals, good tackling, adherence to a strict code of ethics on and off the field.
Yeah. I also heard rumors that he might have had some off-the-field distractions or something at Arkansas… He seems to have found a good fit at U of I. Plus, if you win around 8 games a year, you could make a career out of it there. He might do even better than that. The Big 10 West is just so-so. They have no dominant powers up/out there. And I think Illinois has some solid HS football talent. Then there’s always Ohio to raid for more blue chips. Potential powerhouse he may be building up there.
