How about a new T+1 tradition:

UT v. Ole Miss (or Georgia, or Auburn). And play it at NRG Stadium (since Dallas has the OU game).

I guess we're likely to be in the same sec pod as A&M.

That should not have to require the return of playing on Thanksgiving. I like the idea of building a mutual cross pod rivalry, like vs. Georgia or LSU.

Restoring the turkey day A&M game does something we should never, ever do: let the aggies think they matter.

What's the fascination with Georgia? We have virtually no connection with them historically
As future members of the same conference where both teams will have other annual rivalries one with them is highly unlikely. It's not going to happen because it sounds like a"cool" idea.

I think Texas1983's meant to say we should Never ever restore the game
I think he left out the word never.

Gosh I love the insights on this board. Really

I really want to beat aggie every year. I understand Texas will lose some but lets play.

    Thanks, 67.

    Edited to include the "never".

My other suggestion on this would be to schedule the game in September.

That way, when we beat them, the ags have nothing to look forward to the rest of the year.
