Craig Way said on the Texas post-game show that the doctor said it was not a heart attack. Self expects to return for the NCAA tournament.

So KU Med said not a heart attack. Self went to emergency, underwent a procedure that was successful . Did not say what procedure was.
    I wonder why not?

KU has had a lot of early exits, going back to Roy W. They have been a bit like Shaka. Last year was the exception.

Not sure how far back we need to go, but to say Kansas has been disappointing like Shaka is completely wrong. In the last eleven tournaments they've made it to at least the Elite 8 five times and the championship game twice with no first round losses. I would take Kansas' tourney history any day any time. I'm sure their fans were disappointed, but they understand they'll be back next year.

    2012 lost national championship game
    2013 sweet 16
    2014 2nd round
    2015 2nd round
    2016 Elite 8
    2017 Elite 8
    2018 Final Four
    2019 2nd round
    2020 no tournament
    2021 2nd round
    2022 National Champions
    2023 2nd round

Now here's Shaka's stellar tourney record. Pretty sure this speaks for itself. But hey, he can win the loser tournaments winning the CBI and the NIT. This year was his only NCAA tourney victory in 10 years and during that same time Kansas has 20 tournament wins. Not the same.

    2010 didn't qualify
    2011 Final Four
    2012 2nd round
    2013 2nd round
    2014 lost in first round
    2015 lost in first round
    2016 lost in first round
    2017 didn't qualify
    2018 lost in first round
    2019 didn't qualify
    2020 no tournament
    2021 lost in first round
    2022 lost in first round
    2023 2nd round

Having 2 stents put in may not be as taxing on a body as a quadruple by pass but it is serious enough.
    Wishing Coach Self the best.

A bit like is not the same as the same as, a lot like. Look at all the 2nd round exits when they were a top 10 seed.

I suppose you have different standards? First round exits yearly is not even close to second round exits every other year to me. Mainly because every other year they are making a deep run.

Not different standards, just not understanding a bit like.
