I like spy shows and I'm about to finish the series Berlin Station on Amazon Prime - (IMDB link)
3 seasons about the CIA team in Berlin, a fun ride if you like this kind of show

Night Agent was another pretty good one we watched recently on Netflix

    What's good in your queue?

Having time at home and exhausting MASH and Emergency!, I was pleased to see a new channel in the lineup airing The Rockford Files.

It was interesting to see the guest appearances from people who were on the way up back then. Also to see who Cannell picked from people he used in multiple series...this has also held true with the A-Team, although I hate that they stripped some of the good music from that one in syndication.

I watch Lone Stat 911 just to see the University of Texas flag on Wall behind the Captain's desk

Sometimes non-PC is the best viewing...

Even Murdoch was wearing a God Guns Guts shirt in the A Team episode the other night. That wouldn't pass the censors today...

Absolutely! Including the best series of all time - Columbo. My youngest son gave me a very nice Christmas gift a few years back - the DVD set of all the episodes of Columbo. When we can't find anything we really want to watch on TV, we can always pull out the DVD set and find a good episode to watch (for the umpteenth time!).

Columbo and Rockford are 2 of my favorites. Certainly better than anything today.

Hahaha, several years ago my kids gave me the dvd’s of “Wanted Dead or Alive” series with Steve McQueen plus one of even older western stars. Knowing that I don’t guess anyone couldn’t guess what my favorite tV/movie genre is. Of course in my ancient era we grew up playing Cowboys and Indians until old enough for baseball.

You're right, Run Pincher. There are very few really good shows on broadcast channels. The one that Mrs. HHD and I do try to watch all the time is "Blue Bloods." Otherwise we hunt for good reruns on the cable channels - or pull out the DVDs and watch Columbo!

I'm watching the Hatfield's & McCoys right now on Netflix. Three episodes at around an hour 1/2 each. Not bad if you like western type shows. I really enjoy hearing the language they used back in that time like...."It don't make me no never mind". Love it!

We should have an " it don't make me no never mind" emoji.

Use that face, but put a duck dynasty beard on it and you got a winner.

Did you also watch Breaking Bad? That and BCS are easily some of the best TV series ever done imo. BB was amazing.
I got an email from AT&T in December (we have our family mobile plan with them) offering a free HBO Max account. No strings, no contract, so I signed up. I guess they could pull the offer any time but for now it's a nice bonus.

Thanks! I’ll take advantage of that! Yes, I watched BB first. I’ve watched it twice through. Awesome series!

    The Bear is worth watching.

It's about a fine-dining chef who came back to his family's long-standing Italian Beef joint in Chicago to try to keep the family business alive after the tragic death of his brother. The acting and character development gets an A+. The dynamic between his employee/workers on the lower end of the workforce food chain is as well developed as I've seen on screen. And in my youth, I worked on the very lower end off the workforce food chain at some restaurants. They did this show very well.

Jeremy Allen White shoots up to an A-list actor after this series. Oliver Platt credibly plays the $$$$ relative who works in legitimate business, but clearly is doing some other stuff for the big $$$$ on the side. There may (or may not) be a number of characters in this show who are doing some other stuff for $ on the side.

    Series Trailer below:
