A South Carolina (14) might get Wake rather than us (13). But I’m not certain!

 

I was hoping to find out how many seeds did not make it to the supers.

i believe it is 7 counting Coastal Carolina going down and Stanford TBD.

IMHO, the casinos (and the beaches) of Southern Mississippi are worth skipping... Beautiful pine forest they have there though. Looks like a poorer, and less developed, version of East Texas.

What are the rules to host a Super?

 

Indiana State was unable to host the Super--their decision. They're hosting a big Special Olympics event, I think, and don't have the staff to handle a Super.

 

Terre Haute was already smallest regional venue by far so I cant see how financially Indiana State could justify the minimum financial bid for a super plus the cost of a super. We forget sometimes how much of an advantage the size of Disch and willingness of Texas fans to sell it out is. For most non SEC and non Texas or similar size programs baseball is a huge financial loss.
