What trips do you want to take this year?

Hitting some real hot spots here between April and August!

Following some softball team around.
After that we are going to the bank with a loan app!

 

I would LOVE to go to Alaska and take in the beauty. Do some whale watching and hiking, and anything else I can.

I would also love to go to Coachella in April but that will probably not happen till next year.

My husband and I went to the San Juan Islands on part of our honeymoon. We took the ferry from Anacortes through all the different islands, then stayed at the Bayside Cottages on Orcas Island and loved it. On a clear day Mount Baker was supposed to be visible from our place but it was cold and overcast while we were there. Still, very silent and peaceful.

to Spain and France week after next
to London in the beginning of March
to Disney World in June
to Beijing in August
all road football games (El Paso, Boulder, Dallas, Lubbock, Lawrence ... and hopefully Kansas City and Miami! )

-a couple of weeklong float trips from the following: Green through UT (possibly Canyonlands), Yampa to Dinosaur Natl Monument, Gunnison starting from the Gorge, Upper Mizzou in MT, or the Yellowstone, w/ roommate and whomever, possibly ryskey or rtchorn
-float the Arkansas & Royal Gorge w/ an outfitter
-Moab mtn biking at least once this spring or fall
-Cabo for cuz's BP w/ various characters of disrepute
-Taos in Mar when they allow snowboards, suck on that MrMyke

-maybe Glacier NP w/ roommate
-maybe Grand Teton
-roommate's talking about Lollapalooza or Bonnaroo

 

Snagged a a couple of ski days in Banf, while on business in Calgary last weekend. Like the company paid stuff.

Heading to Oahu with the wife in 3 weeks, for a week. Boozy sunsets.

Sometime in the fall I want to get back to Chicago for a week. After my diet has run its course.

 

New York - Just got back from a work/fun trip last week.

Houston - NCAA South Regional to watch the Horns make the Final Four.

Ruidoso, NM - Taking my wife for a long weekend in the mountains over spring break.

Las Vegas - Heading there in April with my wife to meet my old Air Force buddy and his wife.

Cloudcroft, NM - In April for a firm retreat. Nothing to do there, so we'll be forced to interact with each other. Mandatory fun type of stuff - I plan to be drunk the entire time.

Playa del Carmen - Taking our boys there this summer for a little R&R from the Army/college.

Austin - Moving my son there to start at UT this fall Will be forced to come see him on football weekends. Somehow I'll struggle through the drudgery of those trips.
