There is an article in The Athletic about a poll they ran on coaches players do and do not want to play for. It's behind a paywall, but here's the link in case you have a subscription (NY Times owns them now) Kim Mulkey and Dawn Staley: Payers say they'd want one as a coach. The other? Not so much Those who they would like to play for: Those they would NOT like to play for: The one quote about Vic: “He seems pretty intense. I think he would scare me.” This poll was taken of 95 Tournament players.
I guess they haven't seen how close he is with his players before tipoff and after the final buzzer sounds.
If anyone thinks Tara isn't an old dragon lady, think again. Just ask Rebecca Lobo how she was treated as a member of the 1996 US National Team.
Probably not a player who would be suitable for our program to begin with. Absolutely the wrong mindset.
Angel Reese declared for the WNBA draft this morning. I, for one, am glad we won't be facing her next season when we play LSU. Angel Reese declares for WNBA Draft
I'm glad we will never see her in another NCAA commercial or game again. I don't watch the WNBA, so I wish her well in the pros.
The SEC schools are losing some of their best women's hoopsters to the WNBA draft or eligibility being exhausted. Obviously, that's good news for us as we enter the SEC. Off the top of my head: South Carolina: Kamilla Cardoso Tennessee: Richea Jackson LSU: Angel Reese, Hailey Van Lith (?) A&M: Endiya Rogers Auburng: Honesty Scott-Grayson
You forget that Ole Miss hired Chris Beard one year ago after Texas fired him 4 months prior for assaulting his fiancé?
Sedona Prince is returning to TCU for what seems to be 10th season. They will be a top 25 team with her returning along with the Cavinder twin. I also heard Deja Kelly might be headed there as well.
Makes sense. Kelly and Prince go way back. It’s still my theory that Sedona probably played a big part in turning Deja off to Texas.
