Big XII Tournament

Seven consecutive 5 inning run rule victories. I've never seen a Texas softball team do that. This team is on an incredible run right now.

 

Not the start we wanted against blow u. Should’ve been 2 ground ball outs. They take the lead.
Hopefully it’s now how we start, it’s how we finish!!

 

As the old saying goes. " In order to be the man , you gotta beat the man".

Just having a bad night. Lots to complain about but if we don't come back key will be to just flush it and prepare for post season.

 

Not a good time to be having a "bad night". Team should be playing it's best ball. Blow u not doing anything special. Just taking care of business.
Offense all game swinging at pitches at the ankles. The errors are worrisome and concerning given this teams defensive history and throughout this tournament.

 

Gotta respectfully disagree with you cnb. After 17 or 18 straight wins, something like 6 straight mercy rule wins you know we had a game like this in us...every team does. For me the key is can we move past this?

 

I am curious to see if we are still #1 tomorrow? I thought it was a given till this mess of a game...sigh

 

Going down 2-0 kinda was ball game. Was thrilled to see Henry get us back to one run but OU is still a beast. We shouldn't fall past #2 overall based on only one game. OU was #2 and not exactly a bad loss.

 

I said the growing number of errors was starting to worry me. And not the officially scored errors, the weak attempts at fielding balls, which led to eventual scores. Putting in Washington as a reward for hitting a home run against Baylor was not a good idea. Rusty, slow.

 

It's my fault, I'll go ahead and take the blame for last night. Please feel free to pick on and insult me to get it all out of your system.

 

Natasha Watley commented about how Texas was all business against Tech and Baylor. A serious faces. And then they seemed so uptight against OU, like the went back to the mindset of "how are they going to beat us this time" we've experienced in the past.
