Please explain how we are behind OU by 3 spots despite beating them straight up on a neutral field by double digits. USC, are you joking? Give me a ******* break...
I'm sorry, I don't normally complain about polls, but that is total and pure ********. The top 3 I have no problem with, but 0U given a 1st place vote!? I can understand Florida being ahead of us, even though our loss was way, WAY better than theirs, and our wins have been way, WAY better than theirs. Whaddya know, USC ahead of us too. We will need more than the computers to help us get back to an automatic BCS bid.
What a ******* joke. Why even play the games if nobody pays attention to what the f**k happens on the field. Three spots behind OU? The same ******* OU that we just ******* beat? f**k you college football for making me care so much about a such a stupid ******* system run by stupid ******* people.
This is why we absolutely had to win the game yesterday. We're relying now on polls to recognize that we have easily the "best" loss of any 1-loss team, and a better set of victories than almost all of them as well. But we know the polls operate on something vastly different than logic. It's all about "who lost last", not "who lost least". If OU wins out, they go to the CCG (and possibly the title game) in front of a 1-loss Texas team that beat them on a neutral field. That illustrates perfectly why THE SYSTEM SUCKS!!!
If we can't get to the NC game, I'd just as soon Tech win out and we go play in the Fiesta. This is insult to injury.
ou loses to the #5 team in the nation.... and drops to ******* #4 we lose to the #6 team and we drop to ******* 7 holy ****.
Interesting, just walked over to the sooners board and even they are saying we got an extreme shafting. Saddest part is, with the way the voting works, you've got to assume that alot of coaches ranked us @ #4, so there are likely more than a handful that are putting us at the bottom of the top 10 or worse.
Good thing is #4-7 are pretty much interchangeable. BCS will use the points and not the rankings so I'm still hoping we'll be ahead of the one-loss pack when the BCS standings come out today. That would be huge.
I recall blow u losing in the past and staying ahead of Texas because they beat us earlier in the season. Must be a one way street. This might put some fire back into this team in the underdog role.
Hey guys, I post over on OUinsider. Yeah, you got boned by the posters. OU should be 6th behind Texas and Florida. I am totally shocked about this. In fact, it is a joke you aren't in front of us.
we now have to freaking pray that Tech loses 2 games. or that ou isnt the only team to beat them - because we lose a 3 way tie with ou and tech in the bcs race.

If OU wins out they go to CCG? Is that b/c of some tie breaker math? __________________________________________ in a 3 way tie between UT, OU and Tech, all with one loss, the highest rated BCS tream goes. If OU and UT finish tied for 1st with one loss (assuming Tech loses its next two), UT would for to CCG regardless of BCS rankings. The coaches ranking is total and complete ********, everyone has said this is the toughest stretch of any team in 50 years and we lost on a last second score on the road against a top 7 team, now the #3 team, total bs.
It's just so sad to put so much time and money into something and to care so much about something that is such a big crock of ****. There is no way anybody could make ANY logical argument for OU being three spots ahead of us at this time. None. f**k you college football.
This is ********. But, we need to keep in perspective that the BCS formula is based on percentages. In the coaches poll, from a percentage standpoint, we are separated from ou by .0413. That's the equivalent of all the voters moving us up 1 spot relative to ou. OSU is behind us by .1056, or the equivalent of all the voters moving them up 2.6 places relative to us. With tceh, ou and okie lite all playing each other over the next three weeks, I'd say the chances of us being up in the BCS top four by end of year (as long as we take care of business) is a dead lock and top three is highly likely. From there, if we make the CCG, we have a shot. Just win baby. And as much as it makes me want to I am a ou and osu fan against tceh for the next two weeks
If anyone thought different then you haven't been following the polls lately. It's our own fault, we got whipped in the trenches and made tons of mental mistakes by pretty much evereyone except Malcolm Williams and Justin Tucker.
