Is there an age limit to pay for children's tickets at the game? Are infants free if they don't (can't) use a seat yet or does every body pay the same?

This has come up before every home game this year. I don't know the official answer and you don't want my opinion. Try the search button.

We need to have a permapost at the top of Swap Meet and/or In The Stands.

Yes, even newborn infants need a ticket. The question is whether you will find a gate in which they don't care. Try ones staffed by older people because they love kids.

And now let us begin the "why would you even bring a kid to a 4-hour football game" diatribes...

This post comes and goes like 6 times a year.

My son is almost 3 - he should be ok to sit in my lap most of the game. Just checking - he gets into Disney for free still so I wasn't sure how the Longhorns would treat him.

Ok sit in my lap - or the person's lap next to us or in front of us, basically I'm not concerned with him consuming a full seat next to me for the full game.

When my son was 11 or so, I'd take him to games and sit/stand in the student section and scream our heads off....he thought he was in heaven.

I have 2 daughters and have had 2 season tickets I used for all 3 of us. I never had a problem getting them both in until the end of the year last season. My youngest kind of hit a growth spurt in the middle of the year I guess [IMG]. She turned 4 in June so last season she was 3. They started giving me trouble but I could always talk them into it. I told them "I have been doing this all year no one has ever had told me it was an issue". I think the guilt of turning away a 5 yr old and a 3 yr old dressed in cheerleader outfits at the front gate was too much for them to go through with it [IMG]. Plus I am friends with the people next to us so it wasn't like I was taking 2 kids that are going to be all up in some strangers business [IMG]. I have had these tickets for about 10 years. This year I had to pick up an extra ticket because I am sure they wouldn't let me take them both with one ticket.
