One of the geniuses on Texags asked the following question:


"Why did we jump from 99 to 77? Preseason hype?"

 

Not that preseason polls matter, but why would they be ranked above Baylor?

 

I think with the skill set they have for offensive players, there's no doubt they should score in a more timely fashion in most of their games next year.

Their defense is still going to suck. They'll hold us to fewer than 49 next year, but that'll be because we haven't outperformed ourselves at Kyle since Ced ran wild on them.

Yikes. UTEP at #81 and UCF #100. The word "creampuff" comes to mind when describing our non-conf. schedule.
