dammit, I was really hoping the NY Post was going to win the most this year!

 

Surely the National Enquier should have won a pulitizer at some time in its history for breaking news reporting.

The Pulitzer carries about as much weight as the Heisman after Vince got snubbed.

 

I think we are seeing a real dumbing down of the Pulitzer. Of course when all the newspapers fold there won't be a need for the award.

True. But then at that point, the term "newspaper" ceases to mean what you meant it to mean.

 

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
