Looked, but didn't see post on it. Going to Gulf Shores in a few weeks and looking for restaurant recommendations (local, not Anywhere USA ones). Lulu's and Mikee's have been mentioned. Any others I should know about? Anything else worth seeing (bars, waterparks, etc.) I should be aware of? Gracias.
There is one waterpark there (can't think of the name). It's not bad -- not the greatest, but good for a visit. Bar -- you have to go to the Pink Pony. Small, kinda iffy, but fun people -watching place. Restaurants -- yes on LuLu's -- fun place. Be prepared to wait. If you get hungry for pizza, go to Papa Rocco's
Will definitely check out the Florabama. Looks like a hell of a place...too bad I missed the 25th annual mullet toss. Any other recs on restaurants?
Go to a local seafood market and have them boil up a few pounds of fresh shrimp. Purchase cocktail sauce and beer. Take them back to the hotel or beach for a casual, cheap, and awesome meal.
