My S.O. made chicken fried steak with gravy and it was really good. I didn't have to clean the kitchen either!

Mack Brown did that to motivate his players this year and it worked. It would not surprise or upset me in the least if the Pelini Brothers and Bailey circus did it next year. I look forward to deepening our rivalry with them anyway.

Wow, a customer just brought over some breakfast tacos. I had a bacon, egg, and cheese. Good stuff.

Not sure why there needs to be an asterisk-- the Huskers are the 2009 Big XII North Champs. Speaking of Champps, the location nearest to my house serves a great Pepperjack Bacon Cheesburger and is a pretty decent sports bar. I suspect there's ample seating for those OU Sux fans wanting to reserve it for the Sun Bowl. [IMG]

i don't get it. are the huskers actually claiming they won that game? if so, that's nuts. to say they came really, really close is absolutely on target. to say they could have won that game is, too. but to claim that a timekeeper's error should be allowed to stand is borderline looney. nobody in the country would follow that logic, and it would paint the huskers in an uncharacteristically bad light.

i have to assume this is just the work of malcontents pulling our collective chain.

We tried a new recipe for Black Bean Burritos last night. They were delicious. Gave me the wind something fierce.

    1 part Raspberry Liqueur
1 part Sweet and Sour Mix

    Directions
Mix in shaker with ice, strain into shooters! Enjoy

For once, I can't decide which restaurant to take the kids to eat free for free tonight.
Until then, I am open to suggestions -- any ideas?
Could we try something else for a change, besides Double Dave's or Chick-Fil-A?
Knowing some other options would be incredibly helpful.

You have to understand, our kids are incredibly picky.
Only pizza, burgers, corn dogs, or chicken strips are preferred.
Until then, I guess we'll just have to see what's in the freezer.

    Thanks!
