I hope coming off the UNC win that the FEC is rockin' ... I'm looking forward to the game.

I pray the 6 pm tip time + Holiday break doesn't kill the atmosphere.

    Hook 'em !!

I was telling my girlfriend the same thing last night. This game has been sold out for a while now and I think the fuel from the UNC game will help. I was actually really surprised to see how much love ESPN gave our Horns after the UNC game, I think this should also help generate excitement in the Austin area and get people out to The Drum.

I hope you are right beehorn. Games like these can do very good things for a program and potential recruits. Not that we need help in recruiting.

I flew in from Seattle for this game. I'm pumped!

And I'm at C&A to start and will be transitioning to Scholz soon.

It's good to be a Longhorn.

Sounded like the drum was rockin, couldn't hear the announcers over the crowd noise.

Looked like a pretty good crowd to me... I was thinking how much has changed since the mid 1990s when I was there...

What was the deal with the woman behind the MSU bench who started to get tossed out but then apparently stayed seated. Saw Horns fans pointing her out and giving the "toss out" hand sign. I think I heard them speculate she blew a whistle. Anyone know?

She had an airhorn, which she set off when one of our guys (James, I believe) was shooting a free throw.

He hit the freebie, security took the airhorn away, and let her stay. No harm, no foul. Not sure if or why she thought she'd get away with it. You could totally see her set it off during the game.

Oh, and props to the folks who made it to the Drum. At least on TV, the place was rocking. Nice work, fans.

Thanks -we were yelling from the upper reaches of the mezzanine. And a special kudos to the bright bulb who sold his second row behind Texas bench seats to 3 MSU fans...........

Yeah, we blue hairs totally rocked it. My apologies for any new words I taught the 10 year old sitting beside me. And his grandfather. But that's our standing up screaming middle age way. Keep up, whippersnappers!

The crowd was rockin'. I was a bit amazed at how loud it was from beginning to end. The wife & I clapped and yelled defense on every possession. I was a bit amazed at how many State fans were there. Free flights from the U.P. or what??? [IMG] Overall, very impressive crowd. [IMG] [IMG]

Wouldn't you do all you could to get the hell out of there this time of year? They sure did. I would take a trip to Austin over staying there for sure. I experienced classy fans in the ones I encountered AND SAT NEXT TOO! There was quite a good showing from them. Then again they don't have much else on a regular basis.

There may have been 3 Michigan fans right behind the Horns' bench but there were a whole lot of Horn fans dishing out a lot to the Michigan bench. Way to go Horn fans!

We had four Michigan State fans behind us that told us they decided to use their vacation to sightsee Texas. They planned the trip to include the Basketball game against Texas and the Michigan Stae football game versus TTech at the Alamo Bowl. Nice people and good fans. We gave them directions to Longhorn caverns.
