On top of that, Jay Bilas said that Balbay displayed the most dominant performance by a guard on defense that he has seen in a long time.
Bilas also said something about a 3 play sequence by Johnson being one of the best sequences he's seen by a player.
Tough he's never dunked in a game before (to my knowledge), you had to know he could given his jumping ability. I heard last year that Balbay was one of the best dunkers on the team - it's nice to finally see some proof of that.
He has really put some meat on in the offseason. It is paying off...similar to Colt's transformation from his So. to Jr. year
Chest, you are right about that. The team had a competition and Dogus won it/them last year. He was the slam dunk king on the team. He may still be. I don't know if they have done the contest yet or not this year. Kid has mad hops for sure! He is a Whirling Dervish!
Everybody on this thread except for me is a good poster. I'm only average at best. On top of that, this is a good thread.
Bilas is right. Klain Lucas is probably the best PG in the country and Balbay made him look look silly. Balbay is awesome!
why do i have visions of midnight express in my head when thinking of turkish prisons? Hook 'em Dunkin Dogus
The Turkish Prison is an great nickname. I think Balbay will be assigned to every star point guard we meet from now on. Those guys better like gladiator movies.
He was also responsible for better soundproofing in hotel rooms as well as the modern and quieter mattress.
