I turned on MSNBC and seriously Olberman is as big a blow hard as I've ever seen. He just said everything he said was true and more and because Brown didn't respond to him he was agreeing with him.

One difference between the two is that Rush has a syndicated radio show and makes no pretense about being biased. Olderman is on a major network's news channel which proports to be a news channel. Apples and oranges. And regardless, no one is required to listen to either of them.
By the way, can someone explain to me what was offensive in what Reid said? He said that Obama had a better chance of being elected because he was a light-skinned black man who didn't sound like a stereotypical black man. First of all, I can't believe anyone doesn't think that's true. Second, that's not a negative comment in any way about Obama or blacks in general. It's a rather uncomplimentary commentary on our country in general and on racist whites in particular. What am I missing here?

YLD, you are right, he said no one refuted him which is what I found extremely funny. I'm not sure I've ever heard someone use that on TV/Radio as an argument why they are right until he did.
How do you answer a charge that you approve violence toward women? Honestly? How do you use a point by point analysis of why you are not a racist? When someone takes a candidate's suggestion that hospital staff should be allowed to opt out of administering treatments that they cannot administer in good conscience and concludes that the candidate is hostile toward rape victims and wants to deny treatment to rape victims, how do you argue that? Many on here have argued that Obama shouldn't have to answer certain questions posed to him because they're simply ridiculous. This is a lot worse, because you can't simply produce a certified document stating "not hostile toward rape victims."
