How do you lose when you give up 4 hits, walk only one and commit NO errors? . . I guess you only produce THREE hits yourself, and leave SEVEN on base, scoring ZERO runs. Tonight's gave vs Houston was a tough loss for Workman to take! Glad I didn't suffer through watching it!
Watching a pitcher perform so very well and still lose the game should never be. This does happen and seems unfair.Where were the bats??
According to Bevo Beat, the Tigers will start lefty Aaron Blunt. Moldenhauer will sit. Keys to DH. Kyle Lusson to right field. Cahl Walla to start in left field.
7-5 horns moving to bottom 8th. Ruffin in for Green. Gets out of a jam with only 2 runs across. Let's get some insurance!
For some reason, I figured we would hit today but not pitch as well. I guess that would be the law of averages...
Dane, That's what "gave" means here in Texas, too... That or you typo-ed "GAME." Glad we beat Mizzu with a few runs today!

After 15 games, Texas is batting .246 as a team, has anyone ever seen a Texas team with such a terrible batting average after 15 games? Unbelievable, great pitching but little offense on this team. They would have a hard time competing against someone like LSU who is batting .337.
yeah, but that team hit MUCH better down the stretch than early on. I doubt that they were hitting .246 after 15 games, but I bet they were around .260. The 9 hrs. is not a bad figure for 15 games, imo. I hope Loy is warming up. He, Moldy and Rowe all hit better late last year than how they have started this year.
