She is an awful human being

These video clips show Pelosi in late Feb begging folks to come join her and congregate in Chinatown

By March, she was blaming the spread of the virus and even death on Trump's "denial"

If we had an honest and accurate media, they would be pointing this out on the nightly news. But we dont. And they wont.

The Germans may folks with immunity break the lockdown and go back to work -- based off an antibody test --

Germans could soon be issued "immunity certificates" that would allow them to leave the country's coronavirus lockdown earlier than the rest of the population if they test positive for antibodies to the virus.

    * * * researchers at the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research in Braunschweig want to send out hundreds of thousands of antibody tests over the coming weeks that could allow people to break free of the lockdowns, Der Spiegel reported on Friday.

The French virologist who did that first study using chloroquine repeated the study with more patients. His testing is still considered anecdotal and there are still problems with his somewhat rushed method, but nonetheless the results are worth noting

80 patients. Median age 52 years (range 20 to 86), nearly 1:1 male/female. Six of the patients were from the earlier study.
The patients were grouped into those with upper respiratory symptom and those with lower (54% of them in that category), and comorbidities were noted (46 of the patients had at least one known risk factor). Patients received hydroxychloroquine (200mg t.i.d for ten days) and azithromycin (500mg on the first day, 200mg q.d. for the next four days).

    Results
    [IMG]

65 of the 80 were discharged. Three patients were transferred to ICU – two improved and came back to the main ward, and one was still in ICU at time of publication. One elderly patient (86) died before going to the ICU (comorbidity of diabetes)

On the issue of whether coronavirus infect someone twice?
    Seems possible

Up to 10% of coronavirus patients leaving medical facilities in Wuhan after being tested negative for Covid-19 appear to have been subsequently been re-infected
Can the coronavirus infect someone twice?

Don't trust anything from China at this point.

When a South Korean doctor shows reinfections, I will be concerned.

    As Mona said
Don't trust anything from China at this point.

A chinese thermometercompany said it would like to send faulty thermometors to USA so more people would get faulty readings.
Writer Jennifer Zeng posted this thread on Twitter.

Zhang Xuandong, owner of Haofeng Electronic Technology Co. in Dongguan, #Guangdong Province in #China, says in a chat group of orehead thermometer producers which has 178 members, “Produce some fake products and sell them to the US. They (thermometers) should read 36.5 ºC when the actual temperature is 39 ºC. In this way, more and more American people will be infected. Let’s see if forehead thermometer producers which has 178 members, “Produce some fake products and sell them to the US. They (thermometers) should read 36.5 ºC when the actual temperature is 39 ºC. In this way, more and more American people will be infected. Let’s see if they still have people left to go to other countries to harm others!”

Then there are the thousands of faulty test kits nations like Spain Italy Etc are trying to return

Bill Gertz has written another interesting article on the potential origins of the Wuhan Virus and the Chinese scientist at the epicenter of bat coronavirus research in Wuhan.

But a funny thing happened ... all his published research has disappeared.

Chinese researchers isolated deadly bat coronaviruses near Wuhan animal market
Chinese government researchers isolated more than 2,000 animal viruses, including deadly bat coronaviruses, and carried out scientific work on them just three miles from a wild animal market identified as the epicenter of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Several Chinese state media outlets in recent months touted the virus research and lionized in particular a key researcher in Wuhan, Tian Junhua, as a leader in bat virus work.

The coronavirus strain now infecting hundreds of thousands of people globally mutated from bats believed to have infected animals and people at a wild animal market in Wuhan. The exact origin of the virus, however, remains a mystery.
    * * *
Kenneth Plante, associate director at the World Reference Center for Emerging Viruses and Arboviruses at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, said he doubted the new virus came from a laboratory.

“There’s a lot of conspiracy theories that this came out of a biocontainment facility and things of that sort,” he said last week. “But these viruses are closely related to bats. The actual mechanism of the reemergence of this virus was actually hypothesized back during the original SARS coronavirus,” he said.

But Steven W. Mosher, a China specialist with the Population Research Institute, said China for years has been doing research, detailed in scientific journals, on horseshoe bat coronaviruses that could be harmful to humans.

Houston Methodist is the first academic medical center in the nation to be approved by the FDA to transfuse donated plasma from a recovered COVID-19 patient into a critically ill patient.

The experimental treatment was fast-tracked as the death toll in the coronavirus pandemic soared to more than 2,000 people across the United States and more than 100,000 Americans sick from the virus, according to a statement.

The concept of the treatment centers around the idea that plasma from someone who has recovered from COVID-19 contains antibodies made by the immune system and used to kill the virus. Transfusing antibody-rich plasma into a COVID-19 patient who is still fighting the virus may transfer the power of the antibodies into a healing, possibly life-saving therapy, per the hospital.

I hope those 28 kids are under quarantine now. As long as we keep them contained, they won't pass it along.

It's surprising they were brave enough to produce this report - with such a big part of the Australian economy dependant upon China -- sadly 60 Minutes US is not as brave

The woman made some good points, but she is wrong about Trump's actions. He was being diplomatic at the time, as any POTUS must be. But we have certainly seen increasing anger from him over time as he has learned the extent of the Chinese Govt lying and coverups. And them when Trump did shut off travel to travel, many of them squawked about that. They are conditioned to complain no matter what he does.

I am not sure what someone would expert with the incomplete and inaccurate information we were getting. That is the contradiction in her responses. She spent a lot of time explaining what the Chinese did to hide the data and lie to the world, but then she holds the US Govt at fault for not knowing the truth about what was going on in China. That part makes no sense. But the parts about "disappearing doctors" was good and everyone should see it
