June: HF Tailgate in DFW - PHOTOS ATTACHED

Several of you have requested a get together in early June. Much Horns sports SUCCESS to cuss and discuss!

Frank X. Tolbert's in Grapevine is centrally located and is popular with our gang. 5-5:30 or whenever you can get there. Bring a guest or two if you wish.

Right now the date of Thurs. June 13 has been requested. Hoping our distinguished HF poster @SabreHorn can join us.

Just seeking a general headcount of who can attend.

SabreHorn endured and survived the terrible storm / tornado in Houston Thurs. night. Lost power and probably still does not have it back yet.

However, he drove into town to get WIFI and managed to text me late this evening he WILL attend the tailgate!

Ok gang, I'm getting pushback here and in IM's about scheduling the tailgate on a week night. Some would travel from Houston area and prefer a "weekend". I'd like to pick an ideal date but cannot please everyone's schedule.

We will try for another DFW tailgate probably late August to fire us up for opener with CSU.

So, IF, we instead move date to Friday June 14, how many of you can commit to attend?

Maybe HIC can go pick him up. Landing on the 90 should be easy since there's only about 1 car per hour.

 

Maybe it’s better this way. We’d hurt each other with the things we have to say….especially when I tell you that you’re high school and woefully inaccurate predictions suck compared to mine.

I’ll journey it to any meetings this fall in Austin. But I must declare that I usually take no part in any organization that will have me.
