Wonder what the Clinton did that the AP would go after them on this?
And still it will not matter to her supporters:whiteflag:

    This is outrageous and corrupt.
    Lynch should be removed immediately.

"Attorney General Loretta Lynch met privately with former President Bill Clinton in Arizona for roughly 30 minutes Tuesday amid an ongoing Justice Department investigation into Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server.

The private meeting took place aboard Clinton's parked private plane at Phoenix' Sky Harbor International airport, according to a report by ABC15.

Lynch confirmed the meeting when reporters asked her about it during a news conference later Tuesday at the Phoenix Police Department. The attorney general was in Phoenix as part of her national tour to promote community policing.

"I did see President Clinton at the Phoenix airport as he was leaving and [he] spoke to myself and my husband on the plane," Lynch said."

There should be a special prosecutor on this case - should have been from Day 1.

Lynch was supposed to be a straight shooter when she came in.
    Praised by both sides.
But this was corrupt, and she will forever be tainted by it.

Also, did you notice how much time went by? At least 24 hours, possibly more, it's hard to tell exactly. She was never going to address this but got smoked out.

Just so you dont think this was me being hyperbolic --

    http://www.cbsnews.com/news/president-bill-clinton-loretta-lynch-meet-on-tarmac-in-phoenix/

"..... Regardless of Lynch's downplaying of the conversation, CBS News Justice reporter Paul Reid called it "shocking, absolutely shocking."

"The most high-profile national security investigation under the attorney general is the investigation into whether or not classified information was mishandled in connection with Hillary Clinton's server," Reid told CBSN. "Now, President Clinton and his foundation are also tangentially involved in that investigation, so the appearance of impropriety is just stunning."

Reid also noted that the explanation that it wasn't a scheduled meeting is unlikely to quiet critics.

"Loretta Lynch is no shrinking violet. This is a tough lady," Reid said. "She's stood up to El Chapo, she has taken on FIFA -- she is not incapable to telling someone, 'Look, you can't come on my plane' or 'Look, I don't want to talk to you.' The optics of this for the investigation going forward are horrible."

Even the WAPO is getting wobbly for Hillary

"Hillary Clinton’s email story continues to get harder and harder to believe"
    https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...ontinues-to-get-harder-and-harder-to-believe/

"On Monday night, the Associated Press published a piece noting the release of an additional 165 pages of emails Hillary Clinton sent from her private email address while serving as secretary of state. These were emails that had never been previously released and only were made public because of a court order in response to a request from a conservative group.

And yet again, the emails poke holes in Clinton's initial explanation for why she decided to exclusively use a private email server for her electronic correspondence while serving as the nation's top diplomat.
    * *******
But revelations like Monday's — a chunk of previously undisclosed emails that are clearly professional in nature — lend further doubt to the story Clinton had told about why she set up a private server and how she handled it after leaving office. For a candidate already struggling to convince voters she is honest and trustworthy enough to be president, stories like this one are deeply problematic."

Can you guess who did not cover the Bill Clinton/Lynch meeting?

If you guessed the NYT, you would be correct

"The New York Times did not cover a controversial meeting that took place between U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former president Bill Clinton more than 24 hours after the news broke, a review of the Times news reports shows.

Lynch confirmed to a Phoenix ABC affiliate Wednesday that she met with Clinton, whose wife Hillary Clinton is currently under investigation by federal authorities. The news was picked up throughout the day by other outlets including CNN, the Washington Post and CBS.

The Times has not published any report on the meeting. The paper did run an Associated Press report that was published at 11:30 a.m. ET on Thursday but the paper's timestamp on that re-publication is 9:33 a.m. ET, nearly two hours before the AP's report.

A spokeswoman for the Times did not return a request for comment from the Washington Examiner."

What a coicidence -- Lynch now wants to shield Clinton Foundation emails for 27 months

    http://dailycaller.com/2016/06/30/e...ease-clinton-foundation-emails-for-27-months/

"Department of Justice officials filed a motion in federal court late Wednesday seeking a 27-month delay in producing correspondence between former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s four top aides and officials with the Clinton Foundation and Teneo Holdings, a closely allied public relations firm that Bill Clinton helped launch.

If the court permits the delay, the public won’t be able to read the communications until October 2018, about 22 months into her prospective first term as President. The four senior Clinton aides involved were Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Michael Fuchs, Ambassador-At-Large Melanne Verveer, Chief of Staff Cheryl Mills, and Deputy Chief of Staff Huma Abedin...."

Even if she really was a straight shooter, a special prosecutor should be appointed. It's a case with pretty significant evidence of wrongdoing by the former SoS who's also the AG's party's presidential nominee. It's almost impossible to be fair in that situation, and maintaining the appearance of fairness is going to be impossible.

She'll meet with FBI and before the convention all is forgiven. FBI says no wrong doing and she explodes in the polls! This, the no indictment, is what lynch met w Bill about, to tell him ahead of time so Hillary could go to the interview without concern.

I think Lynch knows she should be recusing herself and is conflicted because Democratic partisans are pushing her not recuse. Privately, she may even want to do the right thing. The fact that she is conflicted is by itself enough reason to appoint a special prosecutor. If that doesn't happen and she doesn't indict, there should be massive political condemnation of this.

"WikiLeaks on Monday published more than 1,000 emails from Hillary Clinton's private server during her time as secretary of State about the Iraq War.......

The development comes after WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange said last month the website had gathered “enough evidence” for the FBI to indict Clinton.

“We could proceed to an indictment, but if Loretta Lynch is the head of the [Department of Justice] in the United States, she’s not going to indict Hillary Clinton,” Assange told London-based ITV. “That’s not possible that could happen."

It's done. FBI recommends no charges. The conspiracy theorists scream foul but they would have regardless of the outcome. The FBI aligns with the Inspector General report. It seems that criminal charges come down to malicious intent. If that's the case then it was an impossible case from the beginning.

What's clear in this mess is that HRC and her aides had a cavalier attitude towards email usage and security. The rules for those in the power positions are different than the peons. I once had a Top Secret security clearance and know that if I had done what HRC and her aids appeared to do I would have been in Leavenworth.

There shouldn't be any conspiracy when HRC herself said she deleted emails that weren't classified when there were a couple of thousand. Some how the Clintons are above the law. This is what divides Americans more and more when we put a person or parties first.
