I'm thinking Spring Season may just be a realistic compromise. Scheduling might be really hard, though...
Dominique Espinosa #55 Please..... if we lose the season to COVID I’ll be getting chased by dogs on some kind of 3 wheeler dragging raw steaks!!
Sorry for avoiding this thread and watching you do all the work. My attitude about the program has not been right. As to that: Gladewater, Texas’ Stonie Clark. Team captain 1995, principle author of SI’s Defensive Play of the Year in 1994 (you might remember the play).
#55 Stonie Clark - 4th and Goal at the Texas 1 yard line - Clark's game saving hit on OU back sealed the Texas victory.
Good job on #55 today ya'll I've been busy doing my tax return and my 90 year old mothers return much of the day. Turbo Tax has been my trusted friend for many years.
#54 Mike Baab. Euless Trinity. Team captain. All-Conference. 11 years in the league. Texas High School Football Hall of Fame. Longhorn Hall of Honor.
HG - wow, I've never seen that photo before. Nice. How / where did you find that one!? I think that is UT vs. Tenn. in the CB.
That’s an affirm, Worster. It’s a cropped foto of Andy Kozar scoring the winning touchdown in the Horns 20-14 loss in the 51 CB. It took a while going through all the NY Giants stuff in a DuckDuckGo search, but a ways down the page you’ll come across 1951 Cotton Bowl: Tennessee 20, Texas 14
One of the best Texas DTs of all time. My OU friend said that OUs Greg Roberts handled him in the Cotton Bowl. I retorted, " Maybe so, but Steve was on the D Line of the fabled Bears 46 Defense, and he's got a Super Bowl Ring"! So there LOL
Hugh Othello Wolfe Stephenville HS. All-SWC halfback, All-American 1937. First Longhorn player drafted in the NFL. WW2 vet and founder of Wolfe Nursery. Longhorn Hall of Honor 1977. Read more @ Bill Little commentary: Hugh Wolfe - The first of many - University of Texas Athletics
I was looking for UT Football Pictures of players wearing #51, and this one popped up on a page full of old pics.
#50 Bill Wyman Team captain, two-time all conference, consensus AA in 1973, Hall of Honor 2010. Gone too soon.
