iHeartRadio and whoever manages 1300 The Zone Morning Show dumped Chip and Hardge recently. Then they had first hour of DP show on from 8-9AM. I miss Sean with Chip and Hardge was OK but he laughed at every sentence. I'll miss getting real Longhorn and Cowboys scoop from Chip with good interviews. Now, they have Chris Duel from San Antonio and Salty Sweeny, who was the producer for TBL. I'm sorry but, to me, Salty doesn't represent Austin sports and who cares what's happening in SA? I won't be a listener. Might as well put DP back on from 8-9AM. Moved over to 104.9 but I get tired of those guys bc they like to talk non-sports more than sports.
I listened to 1300 for years, but left a few years ago when they practically fired everyone. Now I only listen to Ken Milam outdoors shows on the weekends. The rest of my time is on The Horn fm. They do talk a lot of non sports but for me its sprinkled in a good way and generally stay away from politics.
